Long Term Care Insurance provides an option to choose how you are receiving care without risking your assets and income. More importantly, your loved ones are able to manage your care versus providing your care. Why is that important? You are able to preserve your relationship with your loved ones because they are managing your care versus providing your care. This will help you stay at home longer.
If you are in the position of providing care to a loved one, you know the stress and strain that care can cause. This is why you want to make sure that you have a plan in place for your care and insurance that will help pay for that plan.
What if I have Medicare?
Medicare does not cover long-term care, especially custodial long-term care where you need assistance with your daily activities. Medicare covers short-term care related to health issues that are being covered by your insurance.
What is CLTC?
“CLTC® Certification for Long-Term Care educates professionals in the fields of insurance, financial services, law, and accounting about the severe consequences a need for care over an extended period of years would have, not on their client, but on the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of those the client loves. The goal is to give these professionals the proper skill set to discuss those consequences, offer a plan to mitigate them, and when appropriate, recommend long-term care insurance as a funding source for that plan.”
Kayla Price does have a Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC). She can assist you with your Long Term Care insurance needs.
