Coverage packages — common questions

What's the difference between Essential, Secure, and Complete?

Essential covers the foundation — a primary health plan (Medicare or ACA/off-exchange) plus Cancer, Heart & Stroke (CHS) protection. Secure adds Dental, Vision & Hearing coverage (or a Hospital Indemnity Plan) and, on the ACA track, accident & injury coverage. Complete adds Hospital Indemnity, Recovery Care (Medicare) or Life Insurance (ACA) on top of everything in Secure, for the most comprehensive protection.

Is the pricing shown for these packages a real rate?

No — the packages shown here are for illustration only. Every quote is personalized based on your health needs, budget, and current coverage, which is why a free consultation is the next step.

What if I'm not yet 65 or not on Medicare?

Use the Health Insurance Under 65 track below. It covers ACA Marketplace plans (subsidized if you're eligible), off-exchange health insurance, and short-term medical coverage for individuals and families under 65.

Does Medicare cover everything these packages include?

No — Medicare covers a lot, but not everything. These packages show how additional coverage (like Cancer, Heart & Stroke or Dental, Vision & Hearing) can be layered around your Medicare plan to close common gaps.

How do I know which package is right for me?

That's exactly what a free consultation is for. Your licensed insurance agent will walk through your health needs, budget, and current coverage, then recommend the package that makes sense — no pressure, no obligation.

What's the difference between the Medicare and ACA tracks?

Medicare is for people 65 and older (or those with qualifying disabilities). ACA Marketplace plans are for people under 65 who don't have employer coverage or Medicare. Kayla helps clients on both tracks — the process starts with your primary health plan, then we build ancillary coverage around it.

What is Recovery Care coverage?

Recovery Care is a supplemental plan that pays benefits when you need short-term rehabilitation after a hospital stay — like a skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehab. Medicare covers skilled nursing only up to 100 days and has specific requirements. Recovery Care fills the gap so you're not stuck with unexpected bills during recovery.
